Rubber is an expanded cellular product produced with different polymer blends in block/bun and continuous roll form. It is available in both a close cell and open cell, providing a variety of pounds per square inch static loading. There are a number of different flexible cellular materials sponge (expanded rubber) blends of NBR/PVC, EPDM, ECH, EPDM/CR/SBR, Neoprene, SBR and silicone. Unique characteristics provide resistance to oil, fuels, ozone, fungus, temperature, fire, abrasion and impact. Common applications include energy absorption and dampening for buildings and equipment, gaskets for buzz squeak rattle and spacer/standoff blocks for transportation industry.
Rubber buns are produced in SAE grades 0-5. Buns are available in a range of sizes and thicknesses and are skivable to custom requirements.
Ensolite rolls are produced in the following polymer blends and thicknesses
