Arplank products are produced with a molded beaded technology in polyethylene and polypropylene planks. Both provide excellent shock, vibration and energy absorption and dampening properties for a multitude of applications. Its isotropic characteristics make it well suited for multi-directional die cutting. Arplank will fit a wide range of foam solutions with densities ranging from 1.3 # to 12 #.
Polyethylene is a linear, low density resin that performs well in a host of class A automotive applications.
Polypropylene acts as a much stiffer spring and energy absorber, better suited for higher temperature applications.
Applications include the following:
Packaging
Polyethylene may be utilized for many class A surfaces
Case inserts
End caps
Blocks
Returnable containers
Automotive
Polypropylene operational temperature range works well for vehicle interior applications
